Fall 2006

September:

I was specially chosen to read my memoir at the COM201 Coffeehouse Reading (only four memoirs out of 400 from last semester’s COM201 classes were chosen for the honor). My piece was about forgiving and overcoming an underprivileged high school background. For anyone who attended, thank you for the warm reception.

Lauren, Nick, Yosi, and I were a team at ThinkFast, a trivia game with a $1000 prize. We were the top team, but not the winning team. It’s hard to explain… but yeah, that was bullshit.

October:

I’m working as a segment producer and cameraman on BUTV’s reality show “Ms. Boston University”, which aims to find the most versatile girl through a series of challenges related to beauty, personality, intelligence, and athletics.

November:

At a rally for Massachusett’s governor candidate Deval Patrick, I saw Deval Patrick, Michael Dukakis, and Boston Mayor Menino. And I saw and touched Barack Obama, the future president of the United States!

I went to my cousin Jason’s wedding on Sunday the 26th (first one I’ve ever been to). Jason and Kim, congratulations!

December:

I went to a small FHS Reunion at Somerset Diner and saw some old friends, including Max, Mike, and Emily. Pooja, thanks for organizing it!
